There comes a time in every blogger’s life when they run out of ideas to write about. There are a few simple solutions to this problem. You can hire someone to come up with great blog post topics. You can also hire someone to write the content for you. And, of course, you can even purchase PLR content (the most budget-wise option).

If you prefer writing your own blog content, you just need a little inspiration…
Here are five ways to find great blog post topics:
Grab a magazine from your coffee table (or hit the grocery store to browse). It doesn’t even have to be a magazine in your niche industry. Just about any magazine will do. Now take a look at the cover. Write down the headlines as they appear. Chances are they’ll look something like this:
- The _ secrets to ___
- Learn how to _ today
- _ tips to __
Once you’ve written down the headlines, replace the keywords with your own niche keywords. Fill in the blanks. If there are ten headlines on the cover of your magazine, you’ll now have ten blog post topics on which you can write.
2. Browse through social media networks and read posts related to your niche.
Visit the pages of your niche gurus and read their latest posts and information. Chances are you’re going to find many content ideas. (Hint: Consider answering the questions people are asking in your niche in your own blog post.)
You may disagree with something someone said. That’s a perfect blog post. You may think that a topic needs to be expanded upon. You may read a comment on a social media post that is the foundation of an article. Social networking sites are packed with content ideas. You just have to look for them.
3. Read your own blog and browse through the comments.
Skim past the ones that say “Thanks for the information.” Those don’t offer any value to you right now. Instead, look for the questions or the meaty comments. Those are ideal for inspiring more blog content ideas.
4. Browse through groups, forums, videos, and blog comments on other sites.
Often those meatier comments are enough to create a blog post about. Write about your own thoughts and ideas, and perhaps counter opinions to create blog content for your site.
5. Create a listicle.
Lists are easy to make, and they’re quite popular online. If you’re struggling to find content ideas, write down three to five list ideas and tackle them one by one.
Blog post ideas are everywhere just waiting for you to find them. With a little creativity and inspiration, you can turn an unmotivated writing session into a productive afternoon.
*Additional idea: Keep a “brain dump” notebook handy. Fill it with ideas while you have ideas bouncing in your mind. Then, when you have those moments you can’t think of anything to write about, grab your notebook and browse through those ideas.
